Score keeping is essential in TAP. Score keeping must be 100%

The Home Team Player is always Listed first, throughout the match.

List the Players name 1st, his(her) ID, H/C, number of games needed to win, last 2 boxes WON - LOST, check the box that applies at the end of the match.
The number of balls made on the break are marked in the (MOB) column of the breaking players score sheet after every break. Strips and solids combined. If the breaker makes ball(s) and scratches , it is still marked in the (MOB) column only.

• A completed call pocket skill shotI.f the shooting player makes the ball in the called pocket, mark it OMP).
• On the score sheet under COMP mark 1 hash mark for each completed called shot.If the shooter makes their ball but scratches, it is stIf the shooter make their ball "plus " another ball it is marked as 1 (COMP), mark the extra pocketed ball(s) in the (DB) Dead Ball column.

• A shot not completedIf ter ball is pocketed, mark it as a (MISS). Mark the in(DB) Dead Ball column.
• If the shooter is hooked on their ball and is only trying to hit their ball, mark it as a (MISS), unless they call a pocket and complete the shot, then mark it (COMP), or actually call Defense then mark it as a (DEF).

• When a player declairs Defense which is a requirement of TAP, mark it as hash mark in the DEF box.Since this is a call pocket game, the shooter must call their shot to a pocket or Defense (DEF).
• A player may also call defense down. If the ball is pocketed it is scored as a dead ball & DEFIf the shooter pockets a ball on a defensive shot, mark it (DEF) & (DB) dead ball.

• use whole numbers to mark balls left on the table.If the losing player has balls left on the table, mark the total number in their (LOT) column.
• This column refers to the number of balls left on the table after his or her oppoent has won the rack. the losing player shoots an early 8 ball, there may be (LOT) for both players.eaking player credited with the lower ball count and the opponent or loser with the higher amount.

• Each player is marked for games Won and Lost.
• At the end of the match color in the "W & L " boxes for the appropriate players.
• Total each column, write the total in the box at the top of the column.
